Collaborating with London based designer J.L-A.L for the first in a series of projects Puma has taken their contemporary CLRT collection into a new space with the help of Jean Luc and his design studio. Known for his exploration of engineered construction and functional clarity the two partners bring perspectives on performance and structure that has resulted in a unique capsule built for movement in real world city environments. Made from a stretch nylon these pants feature a somewhat tailored aesthetic with plenty of technical appeal. The unique elasticated waistband is easy to use with or without a belt and adds an architectural appeal to the waist pant. The trouser itself is a straight leg style, loose but nothing crazy and features unique ventilation panels down each leg. It could easily be dressed up or down and as such is a really versatile trouser encapsulating both J.L-A.L and Puma's worlds. Some nifty zippered pockets and tonal branding as a subtle nod to the brands involved without being too shouty. A cracking pant with design features well above its price point.
