Designed by Bernard-Albin Gras and manufactured by Ravel Clamart in France. In 1922 Bernard-Albin Gras designed a series of lamps for use in offices and industrial environments. Le Corbusier became a supporter of Bernard-Albin Gras's lamps, using them in his own offices. Other famous clients of Lampe Gras included Eileen Gray, Robert Mallet-Stevens and Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann.
