Warehouse & Co Lot. 4104 S/S Sweatshirt Cera Yellow

Forming part of Warehouse & Co's SS26 '2nd Hand Series' collection, the 4104 S/S Sweatshirt is re-introduced this year and proving so popular last season. 

The Lot. 4104 is modelled on vintage style short sleeve sweatshirts. Cut in Japan from 100% cotton, the Lot. 4104 features a single chest pocket on the left side of the chest while a ribbed hem and sleeves have been paired with raglan sleeves and a bound crew neck collar. Due to the washing process these sweatshirts have gone through there will be no further shrinkage. This version features a Colorado Enduro Riders Associations vintage-inspired motif on the front & back.

The fabric has been woven on vintage hanging knitting machines in Wakayama that weave at a sluggish pace providing a small amount of fabric a day. These were standard sweatshirt production machines until the 1960's when production methods moved elsewhere. There are about 400 of these machines remaining in Japan (with only 200 in production) and they produce roughly a metre of fabric an hour - they require skilled craftsman to operate these machines in order to produce vintage like fabrics.
