The 2 Monkeys Sportif Work Boot Black

Hailing from Japan, 2 Monkeys take inspiration from all things vintage fusing together heritage American manufacturing detailing & European workwear style. 

Having teamed up with Jelado, the 2 Monkeys Sportif Boot was the first model they introduced to their line-up and is based on archival designs from 1920's & 30's. The original shape is taken from a French Hunting Boot with detailing throughout borrowed from American heritage designs of the same era.

Entirely Made in Japan, the Sportif Boot uses French tea-core Calf leather. This deep brown leather is over-dyed black and will start to age as the brown core of the leather will become more and more visible. The moccasin stitch toe is sewn by hand and follows the traditional moccasin sewing techniques from Maine.
