Haversack · in stock at Clutch Cafe in sizes Medium and Small · delivery to United States
Heavily inspired by all elements of vintage clothing & design, Haversack incorporate components of military wear, workwear, dress & uniform to create a truly inspiring collection.
This Shirt from Haversack is based on vintage US Army issue sleep shirts. These were a loose-fitting, long-sleeved cotton pullover shirt in olive drab, worn by soldiers for sleeping. It featured a simple collar or band neck, a short buttoned placket at the chest, and extended length for comfort. Designed for practicality and issued by the Quartermaster Corps during WWII.
Inspired by 1940s U.S. Army sleepwear, Haversack elevate the original spec with a crisp, fine typewriter cotton cloth expertly crafted in Japan. It features a band collar, four-button front placket, and slightly shortened sleeves for a relaxed, casual fit ideal for everyday wear as well as slits at the hem.
