Vasco Leather Army Rucksack Camel

Vasco are a small bag and leather goods company based in Koenji, Tokyo

The Leather Army Rucksack from Vasco is inspired by vintage French La Fuma canvas rucksacks from the 1940's and has been cut from a heavy duty cowhide leather in Japan sourced from the respected Himeji Tannery. This tannery is unique in using traditional hand dying techniques to vegetable tan the strong cow hide, which is infused with oils giving it a rich depth of colour and 'vintage' appearance.

The bag features three large outer pockets with buckle closure on each as well as a rear entry zip pocket for easy access. A fully lined water resistant canvas interior is accessed by a two buckle fastening closures and leather drawstrings. Brass components are present throughout while the zipper used is a Universal. The leather straps are adjustable to suit the wearer and are lined with a padded felt for extra comfort.
