Soundman Vincent Jacket Navy

Japanese brand Soundman have created a name for themselves creating unique clothing with a classical twist. Their latest collection for SS26 is no different as the Albany jacket demonstrates. 

Inspired by the tropical bush jackets worn by the British Army in the 1970s, the Vincent Jacket from Soundman reworks the classic military silhouette with a number of thoughtful updates.

The Jacket features a centre box pleat through the body for added ease and movement, while the traditional external belt has been removed in favour of an internal drawcord that allows the waist to be adjusted cleanly from the inside. The waist pockets are also equipped with side hand-warmer pockets.

Cut in Japan from a lightweight typewriter cloth made from high-quality Supima cotton, offering a crisp feel and excellent breathability for warmer weather. Throughout the jacket you’ll notice numerous lines of stitching and internal reinforcement, details often seen on vintage British military workwear. These construction methods are intentionally used to create subtle puckering through the seams, giving the piece added character as it wears in.
