Allevol Loopwheel Quarter Zip Sweatshirt Grey

Drawing inspiration from classic 1950s US store-brand quarter zip sweatshirts, Allevol has carefully crafted this piece by incorporating the finest details from the original vintage design, such as the half-lock zipper, elegantly shaped collar, and relaxed dropped shoulders.

The seamless side construction, made possible by the loopwheel fabric, enhances the dropped shoulder design and offers a slightly boxy, timeless silhouette. The Fabric is the same as the eved popular Easy Sweatshirt, Loopwheel fabric Made in Wakayama, Japan. 

Loopwheel machines manufacture cotton with a very low thread tension that allows for the production of a premium and unique fabric with the end result being an incredibly comfortable garment. There are only around 400 loopwheel machines remaining in Wakayama, Japan with half of these in use at any given time. These were the standard from the 1920's - 1960's until manufacturing methods gave way for efficiency and cost.
