Indigo People Minori Scarf

Indigo People was created with the passion for traditional craftsmanship and the beauty of natural indigo. The brand is an homage to the artisans who try to keep up their heritage and to people with a great affection for authentic designs and crafts. The love of natural indigo runs deep in the brand's blood and can be seen through each garment.

The Minori Scarf is handloomed by traditional artisans using unchanged ancient techniques passed down generation to generation, each different community specialises in it’s own weaving techniques, with the cotton yarns gathered from their surrounding areas or purchased from the local cotton market. Made with an ‘Open Weave’ on a two Treadle hand loom, the yarns are thickened with rice powder, woven and then washed out after the garment has been completed.
