The C-2 Vest was first introduced in 1934 as a way for pilots to keep warm during missions. This could be seen worn as is, or under their contract issue flight jackets, given the tightness of the knit.
Cut from 100% wool in Japan, the C-2 Knitted Vest features a 40's bell shaped talon zipper with leather pull tab, a single patch pocket and contrasting ribbed stitch detailing on the waistband & cuffs.
