The Buzz Rickson's Liner, Extreme, Cold Weather sits alongside the development of the M-65 Parka, as this detachable liner was created as a cold weather solution. 

Originally the liner was issued to be buttoned into the 'M-65 Cold Weather Parka', serving to protect the wearer from the elements. Originally these were made from nylon shell with polyester insulation with quilting to prevent the insulation from shifting.

This iteration from Buzz Rickson's has been cut in Japan from 100% nylon for the outer shell while the interlining features insulation polyester pile, making the liner extremely lightweight. A diamond quilt pattern has been paired with a urea button front as well as two large patch pockets and is complete with branded issue label.
