Julius Tart created some of the most iconic frames when he started his brand in the 1940's. Now designed and produced in Japan with quality materials; Julius Tart Optical sunglasses showcase silhouettes that are inspired by the past with the modern wearer in min. They recreate the iconic frames using inherited archival material as design reference to bring back the Julius Tart Optical brand back to life.

The FDR shape from Julius Tart is one of their most iconic shapes,  classic frame based on vintage FDR archival designs, with thick and bold with squared temples. Handmade in Japan from a cellulose based acetate, the FDR comes with  100% UV protection lenses and comes complete with official Julius Tart Optical packaging (leather case & cloth).

Supply Vision is a search engine, not a shop. We sell nothing and hold no stock — every listing is information gathered from a retailer's own catalogue, and any order is placed with that retailer, on their site and under their terms.

Prices, availability, sizes, shipping and duties are indicative and may be out of date; the retailer's own page is the authoritative one. We accept no responsibility for the accuracy of what is shown here, or for any purchase made through it.

A store appearing here is not a recommendation — being listed means its catalogue can be read, nothing more. Before ordering from a shop you do not know, do your own research: check its reviews on Trustpilot and Google Maps, look up its social accounts, and read its own delivery and returns terms.
