Allevol Reversible Pullover Smock Navy/Beige

The Allevol Reversible Pullover Smock combines the best of vintage British Militaria utilising some of the finest designs from the Royal Navy and WWII Windproof SAS Smock. 

The Royal Navy Ventile Windproof Deck Smock is used for inspiration for one side. This particular pattern of Smock was first introduced in the 1960's for members of the Royal Navy serving on the decks of Aircraft Carriers and similar. Originally cut from ventile, which is known for its weatherproof qualities, this smock featured a number of unique and interesting design details and is now a rich piece of British Militaria. 

Made in the UK from a high density cotton, the navy side is packed with a plethora of details inspired by original issue Royal Navy Smocks. The oversized hood with snap button peak and buckle size adjuster with drawstring has been paired with the button flap closure that can be buttoned across for heat retention or buttoned back for ease of wear. Two patch pockets with button closure have been paired with a drawstring waist to alter fit while sloping raglan sleeves complete the look. 

For the reverse, inspiration is taken from WWII Windproof SAS Smock. Originally made in a high density gaberdine these were hard wearing pieces designed to combat all conditions. A little simpler than the Windproof Deck Smock, the Beige side features four pockets with button flap closure & elbow patch.
