The 451 is Pherrow's war time model, including or rather not including certain features of jeans during the the rationing of WWII.
Made in Pherrow's 13.5oz yellow listed selvedge denim, they have been put through a one wash treatment to remove shrinkage, before a starching process is reapplied to make them feel and age like raw denim.
