Salomon x Asphaltgold XT-4 *Transit*

With this collaboration, Asphaltgold once again builds a bridge to its new location in Frankfurt - home to one of the world's most important international airports and a hub for the curious, cosmopolitans and globetrotters - and places the concept of travel at the center of the design.

The Asphaltgold version of the Salomon XT-4 has a neutral light grey colorway that is easy to style. This makes the silhouette ideal for life on the move and fits perfectly with modern travel gear. Silver accents reference the sleek, metallic aesthetic of modern airports.

The wavy pattern on the upper captures light reflections reminiscent of the glass facades of airport gates - or the sunlight breaking through the cabin on landing. The words “ARRIVAL” and “DEPARTURE” can be read on the tongue tags as a direct allusion to the travel theme.
