Nike brings back a classic PE made famous by one of the early 2000s greatest "glue guys" on the Air Max Uptempo "Lakers". Best known for being on the feet of Lakers point guard Derek Fisher during L.A.'s Championship Three-Peat from 2000-2002, the shoe stays true to its OG form with white leather upper wrapped in a purple nubuck mudguard on top of a gold full-length vis-Air unit. A purple leather swoosh outlined in gold hits the sides, while the laces loops are tonally embroidered to spell out AIR. A unique elastic band lacing system, gold Air Uptempo heel badge and pull tabs, and a purple rubber outsole dotted with gold pods completes the team color design.
