The Vans LX Classic Slip-On 98 EK "Checkerboard" is based on Vans' most iconic model, famously worn by Sean Penn's character in the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. The classic silhouette is given new life with a reworked knit construction in place of its traditional slip-on canvas upper. It still sits on top of a vulcanized rubber cupsole with the Vans signature gum rubber Waffle outsole, and features elastic side panels, padded collar, woven logo tag at front quarter and yellow "Vans Off The Wall" license plate on the heel.
