Nike men's limited edition standard fit "Army Olive" and black leather low top retro basketball sneaker. First released in 1985, the Nike Dunk was originally sketched by designer Peter Moore and called the College Color High. An amalgamation of different shoes, a common design practice for 1980s Nike basketball sneakers, the Dunk borrowed its outsole traction pattern from the Air Jordan 1, its upper from the Nike Terminator, and its eventual name from the shoe last on which it was created―the same one used to make the Nike Legend, considered the best fitting basketball sneaker at the time.
