The Clarks Originals Wallabee W comes from the AW25 Hair-On Pack of the British brand Clarks. Designed by Lance Clark in 1968 and inspired by a moccasin called 'Grasshopper', the Wallabee combines a foot-shaped toe with true moccasin construction and a soft crepe sole. Since then, the silhouette has firmly established itself in music and subcultures from Jamaica to New York. In the Brown Cow version, a cow-print upper made of pony hair meets brown suede details. The shoe is hand-stitched with a characteristic apron seam and stands on a natural pebble crepe sole with coffee-colored sole spray. Two flat brown laces and a leather deck material complete the craftsmanship, while the tubular construction gives the Wallabee its unmistakably soft shape.
