The Timberland Authentic 3 Eye Classic Lug continues a silhouette that originated in 1978 as a direct successor to the legendary Yellow Boot – a boat shoe that combined classic deck shoe DNA with the robust lug sole from Timberland's boot world. Coming from sailing, the shape became a staple of the preppy canon in the eighties and has not worn out to this day. This version in Black relies entirely on premium leather – from the upper to the lining to the leather-covered footbed. Hand-stitched, with a padded collar, rawhide lacing in a 360° pattern, and the distinctive rubber lug sole underneath. The consistently dark colorway removes the summery aspect of the nautical classic and shifts it towards everyday and urban wear. A grab for those who want heritage craft and rugged authenticity without detours.
