Originally launched in the mid-1960s as adidas Robert Haillet, the silhouette was renamed in 1978 after US tennis star Stan Smith, whose half-smile still lingers today. The Adidas Stan Smith Lo Ballet now brings this legacy into the sneakerina era: no lacing system, just a smooth leather strap over a reduced upper. The colorway reflects the original court look. The Cloud White variant is closest to the classic Stan Smith – white leather, green piping at the collar, and the typical name tag at the heel. The perforated 3-Stripes remain, set on soft premium leather instead of the usual canvas look. Part streetwear, part studio rehearsal – the Lo Ballet represents the balletcore movement, which has long become a staple of rotation from a niche experiment. A clean classic, re-danced.
