ONI Denim 02527PZR-IDBK 20oz 'Indigo x Black Secret Denim' Type III Denim Jacket - Rinsed

ONI’s masterful denim production has become the stuff of legend for enthusiasts around the world, and this new offering showcases the brand’s talents perfectly. Weighing in at 20 ounces, this heavyweight denim has been produced in the same ways as the company’s ‘Secret Denim’ with super heavy slab yarns, woven with three tripod of cotton on vintage shuttle looms. In order to achieve the perfectly imperfect slubby texture, the fabric is woven on a very low tension.

The brand have used black for the weft, and a very deep indigo for the warp, resulting in a fabric which, though black at first sight, will yield brilliant shades of indigo as it is warn and washed.

The iconic Type-III jacket has been brought into the 21st Century by ONI, by adding two hand warmer pockets, making the shape a little more boxy than tradition would dictate. Black donut buttons have been featured, along with a custom veg tanned leather patch. A red line selvedge button plate completes the look perfectly, and we are left with yet another great addition to any denim lover’s collection.
