Buzz Rickson's ‘Aviation Associates’ N-1 Civilian Model Deck Jacket - Khaki

Many will recognise the classic detailing of the N-1 jacket here, but this ‘civilian model’ offers a lighter weight feel, with borrowed details from the government issue jacket. Cut from a rugged ‘jungle cloth’ fabric with a coarse grain, this jacket offers a vintage fit, with a light cotton lining for comfort and ease of movement. Without the need for overwhelming warmth aboard the naval submarines, these jackets originally offered civilians a military look, with features which better suited day to day life.

A corduroy ‘shawl’ collar design has been added to the neck, retaining classic detailing, and providing warmth and comfort against the skin, while the brand have continued with Urea buttons, which protect a Talon zip closure on the front.
