ONI’s range of jackets wouldn’t be complete without the addition of the Type II. And they don’t disappoint. Whilst we might think of ONI as being anything but a traditional jeans manufacturer, this 02517-ID17 is a perfect blend of old and new. The classic shape of the Type II trucker that we all know and love is there, but this time it has been paired with a fresh, modern fabric design. The 17oz indigo duck canvas is a heavyweight cotton which has been over-dyed to guarantee great fades.
The shape is slightly shorter and more boxy than the 02527 model, and boasts two patch pockets in the traditional style. Buttoned cuffs, waist epaulettes, and laurel buttons cement this jacket’s authenticity, whilst a deer skin leather patch on the inside adds an extra touch of class. This is a beautifully modern interpretation of a classic jacket.
