ONI Denim 510SHM 'Kiwami' Semi Hand Made 16oz Natural Indigo Slim Straight Jean - One Wash

The brand new 510 Kiwami from Japanese denim masters ONI has landed with a bang here at Son of a Stag. Featuring a classic straight cut leg, and a comfortable mid rise, this jean marks a departure from other models in this brand’s arsenal. A more traditional shape is met with heavy duty construction techniques, including exposed copper rivets, raised belt loops, durable bar tacks at stress points, and iconic donut buttons. These jeans have been crafted using a ‘hand-made’ technique, with every stitch being made by one single stitch machine, meaning that a very close eye has been kept on this garment’s quality control.

This beautifully slubby denim weighs in at a comfortable 16oz weight, and has been woven on vintage shuttle looms at a super loose tension to give a perfectly uneven patina. Mr Oishi has treated this rope dyed fabric to a healthy coating of natural indigo, a luxurious process which promises to yield beautiful fades over time.
