ONI Denim 03128 12oz Loose Weave Denim Coverall Jacket

With the 03128 Jacket, ONI has once again thrown away the heritage rule book and opted for a design that blends tradition with modern ingenuity. The shape of this piece is that of the traditional Chore coat but borrows details from the iconic Type-I trucker from the early 20th Century. We might recognise the single chest pocket with reinforcing rivets, which sits neatly alongside the pleated and sewn-in front from that early design. Donut buttons are also present to add a little heritage punch, but the brand has decided to cut this jacket a little longer and include side entry pockets for convenience.

The denim is a far cry from their heavy-hitting 20oz fabrics, instead, this 12oz material is lightweight and breathable, but retains all of the characteristic ‘Slubby’ texture that we know to expect from ONI products. Buttoned cuffs ensure the perfect comfort fit, while a stamp of quality is assured by the brands' demon mascot who appears in the neck patch. A brilliant addition to a collection of iconic pieces from one of Japan’s finest.
