Buzz Rickson's U.S. Army Vietnam Shirt - Olive Drab

This olive green army shirt draws its influence from garments customised by the American soldiers of the Viêt Nam war. As was the culture at the time, many recruits would personalise their standard issue military uniform to create a feeling of individuality and to give themselves a voice.

This simple shirt has a standard shape and is cut from 100% cotton which is durable and soft. The sleeves have been cut short which makes this option perfect for the summer months. Two large pleated pockets have been added to the front in a tiger stripe camo, whilst the most obvious customisation is on the back. A gun wielding purple character adorns the back with ‘U.S Army’ scrawled in red bubble writing underneath. Meanwhile, the left chest is embroidered with the name ‘Billy’. This shirt boasts double felled seams throughout which are a signature of quality and durability.
