This particular 552 from ONI is something a little different. How do you get more indigo than indigo, you ask? Double indigo, ONI replies. This amazing 17oz denim has been double dyed in natural indigo to produce a deep blue colour which is darker than the deepest ocean. This over-dying process allows the indigo to gradually fade in a truly unique way, and you can guarantee that they will be superb. As always the 522 has a slim/straight leg shape and a mid rise with classic 5-pocket construction on the top block. The jeans are just as dark on the inside and feature a charcoal weft to help the jeans to retain their mystery. The selvedge line is still there and the traditional copper buttons and rivets have been swapped out with an antique brass option. The back patch is made from beautiful dark deerskin and is adorned with ONI’s iconic logo. The 17oz denim allows this jean to be a heavy weight but much more malleable than many of the brands other offerings. Within a few wears this jean will start to mould to your natural shape, and will only get more comfortable from there.
