Kapital’s denim experience shines through in their bespoke fabrics such as their MAGPIE jacquard that imbues a unique repeating feather pattern into the twill. It’s been used here on a pair of jorts and stripped back of some of the crazier implementations of the material.

The Japanese brand starts with a classic five-pocket jean design that’s roomy in the top block and legs then cuts things off at the knees. There are no raw hems here – a neat edge is folded and sewn. Some lightly aged metal hardware adds some tasteful contrast against the distinct feather fabric.
