The latest issue of BRUTUS features "Curious Minerals."

As you become engrossed in collecting fascinating minerals, your own unique tastes and preferences inevitably begin to emerge.

Before you know it, you might find yourself gathering stones exclusively from a country you adore, focusing on specimens from your hometown, or even developing an obsession where you won't give a second glance to anything other than minerals from a specific mine. Others might collect based on uniform sizes or stick to specific species or colors; the ways in which people express this love are as diverse as the collectors themselves.

This third installment of the "Curious Minerals" series explores these varied forms of devotion. Embrace your obsessions—we want you to discover your own unique way of loving minerals. So, how will *you* collect them?
