The OLD MAN AND THE SEA Hat from Kapital has been a mainstay in the range for years. The broad-brimmed design is based on the sort of rain hats that fishermen would don when leaving port for another shift on the high seas. These hard-working hats need to survive a life of ruthless hard work, so the brim and mid section have radial stitching tightly spaced to prevent tears. Unlike similar styles the Kapital hats can be adjusted thanks to an old style cinch at the back of the crown. The SOFT CRASH REMAKE versions add an extra level of intrigue with a distressed finish. You get a washed effect with frayed brim edging – a great way to get that lived-in look without putting in years of hard work.
