Vans Old Skool Reissue 36 - Pearlized Black/Navy

Vans OTW reintroduces us to one of the most iconic and long-running styles within their range—Style 36. Having seen a period of popularity some years back, it went into semi-retirement as a way of letting things cool off, but now it's back.

Style 36 was Vans' attempt at creating one of the world's first skate-specific shoes and it was a definite success.

Now it has arrived with a Pearlized makeover—no doubt drawing inspiration from sneaker customs curated by artist Metagirl Studio. Designed to look as though they've taken a good hard thrashing or two, the midsoles and laces come faux-distressed.
