Having seen a period of popularity some years back, it went into semi-retirement as a way of letting things cool off, but now it's back. Style 36 was Vans' attempt at creating one of the world's first skate-specific shoes and it was a definite success. Now it has arrived with a Pearlized makeover—no doubt drawing inspiration from sneaker customs curated by artist Metagirl Studio.
