The Arc'teryx Konseal is built for the part of the adventure that happens before you actually get to the climbing. It's an approach shoe designed to handle uneven terrain, scree and heavier packs, with enough grip and stability to make the walk in a little less eventful.
An abrasion-resistant suede upper is wrapped with rubber around the midsole for added protection, while the carbon-shank-reinforced sole keeps things stable under load. Extended lacing lets you dial in the fit, and the Vibram® XS Flash 2 outsole brings climbing-specific grip to the forefoot and traction to the heel.
