The 990 has been setting the standard since 1982, and the v4 remains a particularly good chapter. Originally introduced in 2016, it pushed the modernized look of the 990v3 a little further without losing what made the 99X series so good in the first place.

For Fall/Winter 2026, the Made in USA 990v4 arrives in Monarch Burgundy, Pumpernickel and Black — a very good mix of deep maroon and brown across premium nubuck and mesh. ABZORB cushioning at the heel and forefoot works alongside ENCAP support underfoot. Classic 990, just considerably richer for fall.
