Originally launched in 1999, the Puma Mostro derives its name from the Italian word for monster, which described the experimental look which marked a new aesthetic for the time. The silhouette became an overnight hit, garnering cult status amongst Japan's fashion-forward style crowd.
The slimline, anatomically shaped uppers sport a nylon strap closure which forgoes laces. The outsole contrasts with heavily spiked rubber lugs which add an heir of aggression to this cybernetic icon.
