Asics re-introduces a beloved 2000s-era edition of one of their most successful running silhouettes, the GEL-KAYANO 14. The GEL-KAYANO 14 became the first iteration in the sneaker's lineage to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano, reigniting the franchise's signature values while making advancements in its performance evolution. Mirroring the original midsole tooling with GEL® technology cushioning, it also augments the stability with the TRUSSTIC support system. The fit of the upper has also been improved without greatly altering it, layering silver synthetic leather over blue-to-pink gradient mesh. Additionally, the sockliner is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by 33% and carbon emissions by approx. 45%
