Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 3 in 1988 and gave Michael Jordan four original colourways to wear through the season he won his first MVP. Three of them leaned on Chicago Bulls colours. The True Blue didn't, and it's been carrying that distinction ever since. The 2026 retro marks its first wide release in a decade, and Jordan Brand has done it properly — OG shape, white tumbled leather upper, and cement grey elephant print that lands on the toe, heel and lace panel, a placement unique to this colourway that every other original AJ3 skipped. True Blue accents run across the midsole, sockliner and lace loops, Nike Air heel branding is intact, and the throwback MJ face box completes the package.
