Der Salomon X-Alp Leather greift dabei auf die Wurzeln der Marke im Mountaineering zurück: Die X-Alp Silhouette stammt ursprünglich aus dem Approach- und Skitouren-Bereich, gebaut für Fels, Geröll und alpines Terrain. In der Leather-Ausführung übersetzt Salomon diese Funktion in einen Look, der auf Asphalt genauso zu Hause ist. Dieser Colorway spielt mit gedämpften Grautönen von Cloudburst über Paloma bis hin zu tiefem Black. Das Wildleder-Obermaterial bringt Struktur und Tiefe, während die gummierte Zehenkappe und das seitliche Power-Band die technische Herkunft durchscheinen lassen.
