adidas Originals doesn't waste time with explanations for the Stadt. The low-top introduced in 2019 is a distillation from its own archive – the suede uppers nod to the original adidas London, while the outsole recalls the Tobacco. Formally and in name, the Stadt connects to the legendary City Series of the 70s and 80s, yet remains an independent silhouette rather than flat retro quotes. This Core Black / Footwear White / Gold Metallic is intentionally understated. Black leather and suede carry the soft, rounded lines of the silhouette, with the three stripes standing out in white. The gold foil stamp on the side and the gold eyelets give the clean look a discreet, premium twist. Below, the profiled rubber outsole works in Terrace style.
