Vinyl/CD Surprise Chef - Frogs In A Pond (Indie Exclusive LP)

Frogs In A Pond is the fifth studio album from Melbourne instrumental quintet Surprise Chef. Drawing inspiration from European film composers of the late '60s and early '70s, the album uses repetition, groove and richly layered instrumentation to create a cinematic world of shifting moods and textures. Drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion and vibraphone combine into a deeply atmospheric take on instrumental funk and jazz.

This Indie Exclusive edition is pressed on limited EcoMix Green vinyl, with each copy featuring its own unique colour variation. Across thirteen tracks, Frogs In A Pond moves from the tightly wound Inside Voice and Frog Technique through to the expansive Where The Crows Fly Backwards and title track, showcasing Surprise Chef's distinctive approach to cinematic instrumental music.
