Asics US8-S Gel-SJ33 in 'Roasted Coffee / Periwinkle Blue'

The Asics US8-S GEL-SJ33 is created under the creative direction of the Kiko Kostadinov Studio, the London label of the Bulgarian-British designer who has been shifting Asics' technical DNA into the conceptual for years. The model is developed under the creative direction of Kiko Kostadinov Studio together with the ASICS SportStyle Team and draws from the GEL-SUPER J33, a running shoe from the 2010s that originally aimed to promote natural biomechanical movement. The J33 was a flop back then – Kostadinov gives it a second life over a decade later. This colorway features Roasted Coffee with Periwinkle Blue. The seamless upper wraps around the foot like a second skin, while the multi-layered construction creates a pattern with depth and texture. The Asics logo sits prominently on the back half, while a tartan-like pattern runs across the front of the shoe. Both versions are inspired by coffee – a detail that embodies the archive-loving, quirky character of this collaboration.
